Como is Kraków, Poland-based Jovánec Lotr. While ordinarily a jazz musician, his Como moniker reveals a style more geared toward lo-fi bedroom experimentation. Przemysł Sztuczki is a relatively short EP for which the concept was to complete a different track over the course of one day. Without any other specified unifying ideas there is left a good amount of room for stylistic manoeuvre, resulting in an appealingly diverse, gapless progression from the appropriately-titled Szef Metal's resonating harmonics to the wonderfully rich, atmospheric swell and twinkling exit of Unikalne Kopiuj; through Filozof Asfalt's textural jazz drumming - pummelled by compression - and finally to the roving guitar- and effects-loop structures in Emerytury.
Eighth release for Tavern Eightieth netlabel.
